the swimming pool is fantastic for a morning swim, but the road to the hotel is bumpy.

Its location in Kandy was absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice, just next door to a nice quiet area away from the fumes and noise of Kandy and Tuk Tuks to town, and Kandy train station. Double room was exquisite and neat had hypoallergenic pillows. The staff was amazingly nice and amicable and we would have extended the stay.

I greatly enjoyed absolutely superb breakfast, lovely views.
The hotel's location was MARVELLOUS, close to the outskirts of Kandy, and the centre. It also was near the city center.

Absolutely loved the antique furnishings throughout the hotel. The mountain view from the room was amazing and provided a serene backdrop for my stay.
The hotel sits on a hill, requiring a somewhat bumpy tuk tuk ride into the main part of the city. Upon arrival, we weren't provided with comprehensive information about the hotel's facilities or available services, which could improve the overall experience. I found it lacking that a drinks menu wasn't available, which would help guests plan their meals better.

close to local attractions and serene park walks
I enjoyed the beautiful mountain views and the friendly staff. It's just a pleasant 15-20 minute walk to the vibrant city center where you can explore iconic spots like the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and the Royal Palace of Kandy.

Abeautiful hotel, but definitely lacking in the details. No hot water in the shower, and the staff woudl ve been nicer if they weren't so busy. I expected a complimentary drink upon arrival, but alas, nothing. I almost thought about giving a good review, but couldn't. Major disappointment.
